Local Record Live first in Orange & Seminole

Your local business, listed free and kept right

Your business is already in our Local Record. Claim it and it helps us keep it up to date. We put local first, and we're working to help customers find local businesses.

Any local business can claim. We are starting with restaurants in Orange and Seminole, and we will open the rest of central Florida from there. What you send from elsewhere is saved until we get to you.

What happens next

  1. You tell us your businessGive us the business name, where it is, and how to reach you. Missing from the list? Tell us the same way.
  2. We confirm it is yoursWhen you claim, a person checks it. We call or text the business before we change anything.
  3. We send you ways to keep it up to dateCall or text us a change and we update your record. If you would rather manage it yourself, you can do that in your own account.
  4. We keep your listing verifiedWe keep your listing verified in our own tools, and we're thinking big about where it goes next.

Claim a local business

Business name, area, your name, and an email are all we need to start.

Add website or address (optional)

You don't need these. We'd rather find you the way your customers do, so we see what they see. Add them only if you want to.

When you claim, a person checks it. We call or text the business before we change anything.

The goal Not yet

The goal: sending every record out to Google, Apple Maps, and Facebook.

That takes know-how, funding, and a list big enough to send out together. Today, sending to those sites comes with a Business Base plan.

Why we do this free

We are journalists first. We aim to inspire others to develop the products and provide the services. However, sometimes you have to create the things you want. Charging for a better position is advertising, not research, so we don’t sell one.

Rather talk to somebody? +1 321 485 6285 — call or text. Or read how Local Record works and what Business Base does before you claim anything.
