Local Record

Free for every local business

Live · claims open in Orange & Seminole

Your local business, listed free and kept right. One verified record that we keep correct across our own tools.

FreeListed by defaultChecked by a person

You're already in by default, with no claim, sign-up, or plan needed. Claiming is how you correct your record and verify it's yours; a person checks every claim.

A glass map world of roads, small glass buildings, and teal parks, with a glass record card, wordless with a check mark, pointing down to one spot on the map.

Every solution runs through a Business Base account. An account is created when you sign up, when we run your audit report, or when we set one up for you. Even a website-only customer is built, billed, and supported in it. Add-ons come from the Vendasta Marketplace, or from our AI plus human support, right inside Business Base.

What your record looks like

One record with your business name, address, hours, and phone, checked by a person. Your record starts in our own tools, and we are working on more.

How it stays right

  1. You tell usBusiness name and a way to reach you is enough. Missing from the list? Tell us the same way. An address helps us find the right listing faster.
  2. We verify it's yoursA human checks every claim. When you claim, we call or text the business to confirm before we change anything.
  3. You keep it rightHours changed, new menu or services, moved? Call or text us and we'll update your record.

Coming: we will count the restaurants in Orange and Seminole that have confirmed their record, and post the number here, good or bad.

Where your listing goes

Free needs no plan: it starts with our own tools, and we are working on more. Business Base, the paid plans, also sends your record to Google, Apple Maps, and Facebook today.

Free · today

The goal: send every record out free to Google, Apple Maps, and Facebook too. Not yet: that takes know-how, funding, and a list big enough to send out together. Today it comes with a plan.

Business Base · free to start

Business Base is a better way to manage your Local Record: a free account to start, plus the rest of the value in its plans. Sending your listing to Google, Apple Maps, and Facebook, and keeping it correct there, comes with a plan. How far it reaches depends on the plan.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes, these are free: your Local Record, listing in and using our directories, the resources, a web audit and the community. Business Base's Preflight plan is $0 too, for local businesses in our service area. Paid Business Base plans start at $95 a month.

Is my business already listed?

Probably. Local businesses are in Local Record by default, without claiming, signing up or buying anything. Claiming lets you check it, correct it and verify it's yours.

What does claiming my listing do?

It lets you correct your record and verify the business is yours. A person checks, calls or texts the business to confirm, and then keeps your record right when you tell us something changed.

Do I need a Business Base plan?

No. Your Local Record is free and needs no plan. The free Preflight plan is for local businesses in our service area. Paid plans are for when you want your listing sent to Google, Apple Maps, and Facebook, and more.

Will you put my business on Google for free?

Not yet. Pushing your listing to Google and the other big platforms comes with a paid Business Base plan, from $95 a month. We want to do it free for every business one day, but that takes know-how, funding and enough businesses to push out together. You can always manage your Google Business Profile yourself, free, at Google.
